The best writer in the world

It is easy to agree to the definition of writing if we limit it to something like "putting pen to paper" or " imputing by means of typing ideas into a computer". But when we look more closely at the elements of the act of writing, the definition really comes to life. These following paragraphs might prompt your thoughts and concept about how writing happens for you and your students.

When we write, we do so because we want, need, or have been so required to create a fixed space for someone to receive and react to our piece of ideas. So as to have an understanding of the reason they want to read the book, when and the place they read it guides some of the choices we make. The writing perspective do requires writers to be conscious of the reader’s expectations and an awareness of rules for a particular piece of writing. Idea of the work further determines the appropriate tone, level of vocabulary, kind and placement of evidence, genre, and sometimes even punctuation.

We should note it at this point that we write because we are reacting to someone or something. While a work can appear to be set apart, unique act, just you and the computer or paper, it is really a social act, and a way in which people are been responded to. A writer writes in a specific, most times prescribed ways. We are not just writing and communicating but we are always writing to an audience(s) for some particular achievement.

Languages can be perceived as systems

It could be defined that writing is a form of human communication by settings of visible marks that are connected, by convention, to some particular structural level of language.

The above definition of writing points to the fact that writing represents language rather than just a direct representation of thought.

Languages can be perceived as systems of symbols; writing then is a way you illustrate these symbols. A writing system is also defined as any conventional system of marks that stands for the voice of a language.

And then, particularly if we are

The work of writing can be said to be an expression of language rather than simply a way of speech transcription which gives to writing, hence to written language and to literacy, its special properties. As long as writing was understood merely as transcription, as it was by such pioneering linguists as Ferdinand de Saussure and Leonard Bloomfield earlier in the 20th century, its conceptual importance was seriously underestimated.

We don’t necessarily have to discuss their writing patterns or how good their prose is, as that is, in any case, far too subjective: their greatness could simply be about their ideas – ideas that grab the attention of the world and change the world’s perceptions forever.

And then, particularly if we are including Shakespeare as one of the influential writers, we need to look at what kind of writing we are talking about. Shakespeare falls into the fiction writer category and so, perhaps, to find our best writers we should look at other fiction writers whose work had something like the influence of William Shakespeare’s. It should therefore be known that the best writer writes in fiction. Therefore the requirements will be that he should be a poet, and prose fiction writers who have had a great influence on the writers who came after him or the society.

The Best writer in the world

But who then stands out as the best writer of all time apart from Shakespeare? Below is an all time great and the best writer in world.

Thomas Stearns Eliot is the best writer of all time, born in American, a British, essayist, playwright, poet, writer who is now regarded as one of the major poet in the twentieth century. Of the past two centuries, Elliot was granted more rewards than almost any other writer, of course the Nobel prize was not left out.

Eliot is best recognized for a particular piece, The Waste Land. The other outstanding poems that distinguish his writings are Ash Wednesday, The Lovesong of J Alfred Prufrock, The Four Quartets, and the ever-popular (particularly among children) Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats. His plays – verse dramas – Murder in the Cathedral and The Cocktail Party – are among the great works of 20th century drama.

I think it is noteworthy to identify him as the best, considering his outstanding and impacting work.
