If you don't have the answers to these questions you need to take a step back and reasses wether or not your book would really have any substance to help. You could also do some research, speak to people who are willing to tell you their stories. Ask them what they needed at the time. What would have made things easier for them to handle the trauma that they had faced. This will give you an idea of the trauma and heartache people actually face and will better motivate you and inspire you to have a solid reason to want to help.

Target market:Which group of readers are you targeting? Remember all people face different types of problems. So which group are you willing to help? Divorce? Abuse? Trauma? Drug abuse? Once you have chosen a target market, you may center your research around this specific group of people.
